Our CD Olena colt Hagar has started working cattle at Todds and he's doing fine. He was a little spooked by them at first but Todd had him out moving bulls in the pasture and that did him good. He's been working some heifers also and now I guess his training starts in earnest. I love the fact Todd keeps it real and give him some real life chores to go along with the arena work. He sounds really pleased with him still and we couldn't be happier.
Kick The Cat has been working the flag and cows on and off the last couple of day's. We busted out the rope too and she did great! Much calmer and had a clearer picture of her responsibilities when roping. She didn't think she had to cut and work the cows like she did last year at times but showed alot more patience. She feels great and hopefully she'll continue to develop her consistency so we can go show come spring and summer.
