Man, what an event!! The Vaquero Fiesta is a stockhorse and reata roping event at it´s finest. Honouring the old vaquero traditions, the contestants sport flathats, armitas and reatas. The horses are adorned with beautiful silver bits, braided rawhide and tapaderos. The event gathers some of the finest stockmen and reata ropers in the country, but it´s also a low key family event ment to be affordable for the regular ranchhand with family.

Top hand Sam ReddingThe fiesta also atract some of the finest art & craftsmen in the business like braiders Bill Black and Steve Harris along with bitmaker Bruce Haener among others.
